A Place of Learning

Unlocking opportunities for education

As part of the unified vision for the site, the emerging outline plans which will likely come forward at the western parcel of Rainhill Place are for a new community and learning facility, known as Use Class F, to support the Church’s community.

This outline application seeks to secure a future for the Church’s associated network of schools, specifically OneSchool Global, who are exploring the possibility of opening a new, high-quality school at Rainhill Place.

Established by members of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church community, OneSchool Global schools develop life-ready students who learn how to learn and achieve, with all schools registered and inspected by Independent Schools Inspectorate.

Should this outline permission come forward, it will create numerous job opportunities for the local community. This includes new teaching and administrative roles for local people.

These roles offer excellent career pathways and innovative training and development opportunities, including OneSchool Global’s sector-leading teacher training academy offering free in-house training to equip teachers for success in an increasingly digital world.

If OneSchool Global are not able to open a school at Rainhill Place, the application would unlock the opportunity to deliver other learning and local community uses which are compatible with the proposed Gospel Hall.

Any future development at this location would be non-residential, ensuring that the site is used appropriately and sustainably.
